This was really the genesis of what would later
become the Mongrels The 2004 Quartz race was the first race Nicol Rodgers and Richard Jensrud connected Nicol, Richard and many of the other teammates had competed in different races throughout 2004 and before, but Quartz Mountain was the first race we raced under the Mongrel name Quartz Mountain Rockslide: 4th 4-person coed 6th Overall Winning Time: 21:09 Mongrels Time: 24:58 Teams Participating: 19 total, 9 4C
