As a Racer:
Dan is one of the few racers we know that will volunteer to get
half naked to swim a half a mile at 2am ... just because the
rest of the team does not want to
When He's Not Racing:
He hardly works, because trading financial derivatives for
Highland Capital is pretty much like a part time job ... NOT!
Otherwise, Dan runs marathons, duathlons, triathlons and
anything else that keeps him diversely athletic

Before He Was A Mongrel:
Dan grew up in that terribly underprivileged world of
yacht clubs and private schools ... if nothing else, we are all
happy he did not take the stereotypical path by ending up in rehab
... we like him much better this way
